Outpatient Services

Stress, Anxiety, & Depression

Our outpatient services are provided at multiple locations and enacted by the caring staff of Access Ohio in a structured environment. Access Ohio offers Addiction Treatment & Mental/Behavioral Services in our outpatient facilities.

Medication Assisted Treatment

Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole-patient” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. Medications used in MAT are approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and MAT programs are clinically driven and tailored to meet each patient’s needs. MAT is primarily used for the treatment of addiction to opioids such as heroin and
prescription pain relievers that contain opiates. The prescribed medication operates to normalize brain chemistry, block the euphoric effects of alcohol and opioids, relieve physiological cravings, and normalize body functions without the negative and euphoric effects of the substance used.

My Daughter

“The excellent treatment she has received over the years at Access Ohio has helped to provide my daughter with a more productive and a higher quality life than our family ever thought would be possible for her. Over these many years, having her challenging mental health needs addressed properly by Access Ohio, has taken a huge burden off from me and our family members. Knowing that any health issues which may arise will be addressed immediately by all staff members at Access Ohio is very comforting to me and to my daughter’s care- giving team. The entire staff at Access Ohio is always friendly, caring, and respectful to my daughter and to her care staff. Access Ohio has been a blessing to our family.”

“Access Ohio is the only thing that saved me, and it started with counseling. Counseling really helped me on how to deal with things. If I needed anything, all I had to do was call Nurse Amy or Wes. Access helped me a lot, I got my daughter with their help. My doctor—Dr. Singh, put it to me straight, he helped prepare me for real life and didn’t beat around the bush with me. My Case manager helped me get my social security. Access is freaking awesome. I wouldn’t be sober without this place. I was ready and committed but even in the moments I was not committed, Access helped me.”

“When I got out of detox I was pregnant and referred to Access Ohio. When I first went there, the doctor and nurse were very nice and they actually cared about what was going on in my life and wanted me to get clean too. They didn’t treat me as just another person just being prescribed a medicine. When I had trouble with the pharmacy, they called and made sure I got my medicine and never had to go without it. If I ever had to reschedule or was running late, they were very understanding. The doctor takes time to talk with me and even counsel me which helps me a lot. I used for 5 years and this is the longest I’ve been clean and I can honestly say if it wasn’t for Missy and the staff at Access Ohio I don’t think I would be.”
